The Cameron Lil’ Smokies 10U volleyball team has competed in the Ralph Wilson Youth Club Fall Volleyball League and has had a successful season qualifying for the Play-off Tournament on Nov. 16.

The Lady Yoe hosted their 15th Annual Dig Pink Event this month, raising money for the Side Out Foundation.
Thorndale Volunteer Fire Deparment held Fire Safety Week last week. They visited St. Paul’s and Thorndale Elementary on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The Thorndale Bulldogs football team traveled to take on the Mason Punchers on Friday, Oct. 11, for their district opener.
Thorndale was defeated by Mason, losing 59-14.

The Thorndale City Council passed an Ordinance on Oct. 9 increasing the water tap fee from $950 to $1,265.
This increase will go into effect on Nov. 1, 2024.
